My Spring Bucket List

by | Mar 9, 2024

I just wrapped up my winter bucket list and as we head toward the spring season I thought it would be fun to put together a new list of must-do items for the upcoming months of March through May.

This spring’s list is one that I’m really excited about because along with the warmer weather I always feel a boost of energy.

Here are some of the things I’m looking forward to:

  1. Make progress on my nonfiction book manuscript. I’m hoping to add 25k words to my book manuscript over the next few months. My goal for the year was at least 50k words toward this project, so an additional 25k would help me pass the halfway point of that goal at almost the halfway point of the year.
  2. Try out an indoor climbing gym. This is one of my annual goals for the year that I’d love to get checked off this spring. I’ve always wanted to try an indoor climbing gym and there’s a local one I’ve already identified that’s great for beginners.
  3. Set up my hammock again. Usually we have pretty random and variable weather into the spring (including snow!), but I’d like to get my hammock set back up outside by the end of May.
  4. Dive into reading Cassandra Clare. I have never read this author before, but I’m planning to dive into her Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices series in April and May. This author comes highly recommended, so I’m looking forward to seeing what I think.
  5. Jog a mile (or more). Replacing my running shoes is on my March to-do list and I’d like to get back into some jogging this spring. I’m mostly a walker who occasionally does very slow jogging, so setting a goal to run a mile feels reasonable for me.Edit LinkVisit Link
  6. Buy a few spring wardrobe pieces. I have a couple different places that have outlet stores within driving distance of where I live and I like to go to my favorite stores each season to see if there is anything I want to purchase to refresh my wardrobe a bit. These shopping trips also remind me to weed out any clothes in my closet that I’m not wearing any more.
  7. Purchase a spring bouquet of flowers. What better way to celebrate spring than to honor the change of season with some fresh blooms! I’d love to get at least one bouquet for my house in this upcoming spring season.

What’s on your bucket list for the upcoming season?
